We would love The Borrowed Book to become a welcoming space for local book clubs and reading groups.

Whether you are an established group looking for a regular meeting place or you are hoping to start a brand-new book club, we would be delighted to hear from you. Our aim is to create a relaxed, friendly setting where people can meet, talk about books and enjoy being part of a reading community.

What Can We Do For You?

Depending on your group and what you need, we may be able to offer:

  • A comfortable space for regular book club meetings

  • One-off gatherings or special themed events

  • Help promoting your group to local readers

  • Reserved copies of your chosen book, where available

  • Author talks, discussions or joint events

  • Refreshments as our café offering develops

We are open to ideas and would be happy to discuss how our space could work for your group.
